I have been a practicing attorney since 1994, first as an Assistant State Attorney, and since 1999 as a criminal defense attorney.  After many years of working with other lawyers I decided to open up my own law firm Drug and Alcohol Attorneys.  I help people fix their lives when drugs and/or alcohol have affected it negatively.  Pills, Weed, Cocaine, Heroine, Alcohol…we help people get back on the wagon and back in the game we call LIFE!

As a young child I was bullied, school was a miserable time for me.  In an effort to learn to fight back I dabbled in various martial arts, never really finding anything that would save my ass against a bigger, stronger opponent.  About 13 years ago I discovered Krav Maga, it’s the official system of hand-to-hand combat of the Israeli military, Special Forces and anti-terror units.  It is taught to many police departments around the country because it is the most highly effective, easy to learn, hard to forget system of self-defense available today.

If you want to learn to fight back against an attacker who may be armed with a gun, knife, or stick, one or more friends, and/or all of the above, I can teach you to fight back and survive.  While I enjoy the training, my students like to test me and see how they measure up, the reason I have continued to train is because it gives me the opportunity to pass on what was given to me as a gift, it gives me the opportunity to teach and EMPOWER others, the ones that cannot fight back or feel that they will never be able to survive a violent encounter.  Krav Maga is a shield for the powerless against the powerful.

Drug And Alcohol Attorneys was founded on that same principle of EMPOWERMENT.  The government has unlimited resources with which to prosecute you, and bring you to justice.  The only thing that stands between you and all this government power is the Constitution, which, like Krav Maga, is a shield to protect the powerless against the all powerful government.

However, in order to effectively use that shield an accused needs someone who knows how to use it and when to use it so that the criminal justice system can be safely navigated with as little effect on a person’s time, money and reputation as possible.  Sometimes the government’s evidence must be put to the test and challenged to see if it measures up to Constitutional scrutiny.  Sometimes, a good advocate can make a case for the government to give someone a second chance because they can be saved and become a productive member of society.

Call us for a free consultation and Life M.A.P. (MOVE AHEAD PLAN).  We will help you navigate your way through the criminal justice system and connect you with the right professionals, so you can fix all the other areas of your life that have been affected by your drug and/or alcohol arrest.
